Paper snowflakes
Fold, snip and unfold paper into snowflakes for the window. No two look the same.
You need
- square sheets of white paper
- round-tipped scissors
- tape
Steps
- Fold a square of paper corner to corner into a triangle.
- Fold the triangle in half, then in half again.
- Let the children cut small shapes along the edges: notches, curves and holes.
- Unfold the paper slowly to see the snowflake.
- Tape the snowflakes to a window.
Use round-tipped scissors, and cut the thick folds yourself for under-sixes.
